Our current studies

Scientists worldwide are examining how the brain contributes to the maintenance of pain in the body and how new brain-based solutions could improve symptoms. We contribute to this community with our studies. Here is a list of our active studies that you could take part in: 

Brown University online research study on acute and chronic pain

Location: Fully Online (Entire USA)

Eligibility: Patients with Acute or Chronic Pain and Healthy Participants

Brown University Back Pain Study

Location: Providence RI

Eligibility: Patients with Chronic Back Pain, who will undergo back pain surgery, receive spinal cord stimulation or radio-frequency ablation

Brown University Fibromyalgia Study

Location: Providence, RI

Eligibility: Patients with Acute or Chronic Pain and Healthy Participants

Lifespan Rib Fracture Study

Location: Providence RI

Eligibility: Patients with a recent rib fracture
